The masterclasses are aimed at people who already have experience of working with metal clay, and you should feel confident that you can manage the basics before attending one of these classes.  The numbers are kept small so that you get maximum attention.

The idea behind the masterclasses is to really develop your skill level, and to teach techniques which will give an extra level of professionalism to your work.
STERLING SILVER CUFF BRACELET
This really is a fantastic technique to learn - mixing sterling silver with PMC/Art Clay.

The technique is particularly well suited to making bracelets.  PMC/Art Clay is not strong enough when fired to make bangle or cuff style bracelets.  Using this technique you’ll learn how to make a cuff bracelet from sterling silver, then prepare it using a process called Depletion Gilding, and finally add some decoration using PMC/Art Clay.

The cost of the class includes a strip of sterling silver to make a cuff bracelet, plus 10g of silver clay for decoration.
HINGED BOX
This will really bring your construction techniques along!  You will spend the day creating a little trinket box from PMC/Art Clay.  You will learn how to add hinges, a lid and catch.

This is a great skill to have, and will be useful in your jewellery design as well - lockets for example.

The cost of the class includes 25g of silver clay.
