This class is aimed at people who are completely new to PMC
After a welcome chat and cuppa, we’ll look at the different types of PMC available and their uses. We’ll also look at the basic tools needed. You will then go on to make your first piece from PMC. This is usually a simple pendant, earrings or charms and is designed to get you used to working with PMC, texturing and shaping.
You can then use the rest of your PMC to make further pendants, earrings or charms. You’ll be able to use fireable CZs to add a bit of sparkle.
During the day you will be able to use the blowtorch to fire one of your pieces as this is the method most people go on to use at home. The kiln will also be running so you’ll be able to see how easy they are to use!
By attending this one day class, you will have a good introduction to the magic of metal clay. You’ll leave with some gorgeous pieces of jewellery and you’ll definitely want to do more!
